1- Diagnosis and Programming (Driving Range)

Every training program should be specifically developed for each player. The first stage consists of an evaluation that implies the diagnosis of physical problems, mental structure in relation to the game, proposal and setting of goals, present state of the technical, mental and physical problems and common mistakes and trends. Basing on this information, each pupil’s training is planned, according to his/her particular skills which shall be developed throughout the days.

2- Theoretic Lesson (Driving Range)
In this stage we will intensely develop the swing concepts and its biomechanical clues. At the moment of ending the theoretic lesson, the pupil will take a card where the corrections made by the professional about the technique shall be enumerated, together with a package of specific exercises for the correction of the pupil’s most important mistakes.

3- Practical Lesson – (Golf Course)
The game is defined in the course. It is really important to stroke consistently, acquire the necessary technique and have the regularity of strokes so as to minimize the score, but, attitude in the course, to “know how to play” is what differentiates the average golfer from the outstanding golfer. This is the reason why we consider this as the second part of this intensive training. Having a good technique and consistent strokes, we have half of the work done; nevertheless we still have to complete the second half: “Learning to PLAY Golf, how to achieve the lowest score possible, with the elements I have…”
|
In the Golf Course, professionals will develop the following training:
• Warm up: Physical warming up routines in order to avoid injury and achieve an optimum availability of resources.
• Putting green Round: Knowing the Greens of the course where we play and acquiring the stroke feeling on the green.
• Tactics & Strategy for each hole and each circuit: Handicap management, selection of the best stroke possible, conservative game, risky game, advantages and disadvantages.
• Viewing Shots: Mental Representation, yards count, measurement of wind and rain influence, ball seat, different problems, club selection, and flag position.
• Pre-stroke Routine: Duration, plan, organization, mental attitude, thoughts chain.
• Rules: Interpretation and application of rules as from practice visions. General Rules and Local Rules.
4- Balance & Final Tips
Once the golfing activity has ended, the professionals responsible of the golf clinic and the pupils will make a balance about everything they have learnt. Some tips about the future training of pupils will be given, emphasizing those areas where the pupil should improve by way of practice.
